As an ordinary person living in a developed country, we don’t usually pay much attention to the events happening around the world, especially war/conflicts.

The fact that in 2020, there are still 8 peace agreements signed indicating the world is not as peaceful as many people think.

War/conflict is much more likely to happen in developing countries.

Women and other vulnerable groups are much more likely to be forgotten in a peace process.

Compared to women and children, other vulnerable groups, especially disabled people still need more attention in the peace process.

Over the last 30 years, after the various movements, peace processes are slowly improving on including the provision of various aspects for women. It is very clear there are more and more women participating in the peace processes.
